Workshop on Recruitment, Hiring and
Retention
The primary goals
of this program will be:
- To review the processes you currently utilize to recruit, hire
and retain staff
- To provide instruction on how to improve all the areas indicated
above
Specific topics
will include:
- The concept of using the end of probation (or introductory
period) as when the hiring process ends for each new hire will be
discussed
- The value of having an “on-boarding” process for new hires will
be presented and a brain-storming session will be utilized to a draft
an
on-boarding program for one position - Information will be provided on the types of questions that are
appropriate and within the law to ask an applicant and those that
are not
- The attendees will develop a list of “killer questions” (highly
effective) that could become part of a standardized hiring process
for specific areas within your organization
